If? :soscared:

Dude, you'll be lucky if you don't need sandpaper.

I hope you're charging what you're really worth for this one.

PC.

Yea you won't get anywhere in a day if you try using a pc on a black benz in that condition. Have fun. Can't wait to see before and after pics though

I think the owner used a steel wool in cleaning the car!!! Feel so sorry on that Benz!!! Please post the after result on these car. :chuckle:

I hope payment involves a whole lot of money and a stripper.

Then it might be worth it, but unfortunately all I get is a little bit of money, all the beer I can drink and alot of advertisement.

The owner of this car is our Logistics Manager and he's probably the most liked person at my company. He rubs shoulders with everyone from the big wigs down to the cleaning guys in the warehouse. He has been raving about the job I did on his wifes Jaguar but nobody gets to see it. On the other hand, everybody see's his car everyday and see's how bad of condition it's in so this is my chance to bring it back to life and show everybody what I can do.

I'm giving him a hell of a deal because he facilitated me being reunited with my family (long story).

How can one even let a car get to that point.
No kidding :nixweiss

I want to know how well the PC will work on that.
I don't imagine it'll put much of a dent in it but I'll do a portion of a panel with it and see what happens, or course taking pics for reference.

LOL

I have faith in myself, but it's a hell of a test for me that's for sure.

I'll definitely post the after pics, I just hope they're worthy of a click and brag.

I'll give you some advice...Don't be scared and don't feel overwhelmed. It's not as bad as you think it will be. I love doing black cars like that. MB has great paint!

What products are you thinking of using?

Hi Temp Heavy cut

Menzerna IP

ClearKote RMG

ClearKote CMW

Jeffs Werkstatt Carnauba Jett

HTHC via rotary

then IP/RMG combo via rotary

CMW via PC

JWCJ by hand

I hope that takes care of it.

how much are you chargin this guy?! Better be worth your money! Yeah doesn't look like a PC will be able to take care of it...
I'm not getting paid what I would normally charge for a job like this, but this guy came through for me in a time of need and helped pave the way for me getting my family back so I have no problem in doing this for him.

Thanks for the words of encouragement. I'm actually kind of anxious to get going on it, I think I can bring it back.

I know how that feels! I am doing a freebie tomorrow for a friend that has helped me out a lot! I will make his car stunning for all the things he has done to help me out in the past.

Give it your best shot and I wish you the best of luck with the car and your family!!!!!!!!

Kudos to you! Glad to hear he was able to help you out and get back what cannot be replaced. I know in turn you'll do a great job and can't wait to see the afters. It'll be impressive for sure.
