what brand PC pads do you use?

I've tried the CMA pads and i like them, haven't had any probs till today. My yellow pad began ripping from it's backing about 3/4 of a way through a car.. it's toast now unless i can glue it back on. The meguiars pads looked interesting. From the video they looked thicker. Anyone know how they compare? (or any place that sells them?) they also didn't appear to have that little dimple in the middle.. which makes things a little tricky at times. Any other good pads out there?

I use Meguiars pads and like them alot. I have CMAs for my Makita. Meguiras has worked fine for cutting and Polishing pads. They have held up to a few hand washings afterward too.

The reason I don't use CMAs for PC is (probably a bad excuse) the colors of the pads are different then Meguiars. There cutting pad is Yellow and Meguiars is purple or marroon.. There Polishing

pad is white and Meguiars is yellow.

Since I like the pads I will keep using them.

In the beginning I did use to much product and the pad flew off....my fault..since then is been great.

Meguiars pads will work fine on your PC. I have used them and they are pretty good pads. Check your local auto paint supply houses, most of them should carry the Meguiars pads. If you can't find them locally www.motorhead.net carries them. :up

what size pads for meguiars? I have the CMA velcro one with the 6 in backing pad, do the 6.5 inch meguiars pads us the same one? Or do i need a new one.

I'm very satisfied with Griots orange polishing pads. They clean up easy, and so far have been used about ten times with no wear or tears.I use a laundry marker on the backing to number for the different polishes because I have used all three.

You should contact CMA about the yellow pad. I had one separate

also and I just sent it to them and they replaced it for free..Can't beat that!!
