Turning CCS pads into Flat pads?

Can I cut off the face of my CCS pads and make them flat? Are the foam cell structure different on the inside?



This is a serious question lol.

I think it would greatly shorten the life of the pads. I noticed that once the initial surface of the CCS pads begin to break down they go to heck in a handbag very quickly.



Shame, I really would like some FLAT "German green" polishing pads...

All the foam is a "finished" foam. Removing the finished surface would reveal a different composition.

leave them be. if you cut or alter them, you may run into premature wear (tearing, ripping, etc)...
