Today's Detail...no pics though

The other day I got a call from a friend's cousin who wanted his F-250 detailed while he was in NY. This guys truck is a truck that he uses for plowing and for his business every once in a while especially now since diesel prices are so high right now and can't afford to fill his brand new F-250. The truck has seen it all..not in the best shape but looks good and still shines except for the massive amounts of overspray on the room from trying to repaint the passengers door from an accident. I tried claying the overspray..NOTHING. Then moved on to SSR1 with a cutting pad...NOTHING. Then moved onto SSR2 with a different cutting pad...NOTHING. I gave up on it because the customer didn't really care if it came off or not, he just wanted me to try to see if it would come off. I proceeded to finish the detail. Interior came out great considering what it looked like. Overall it looks pretty good for just a work truck. I was there for about 5 hours. I've detailed for him before and since I know him and he's not exactly rich, I only charge him $80. I think thats fair considering I don't do a COMPLETE detail on his cars because he doesn't care. That might be a different story for his brand new F-250 diesel that he is using for his business. Its actually in the bodyshop right now getting repaired from a minor accident. He wanted that detailed when it gets out of the bodyshop but I'm not going to be around to do it. If I know him as well as I think I do, he will just wash it and then wait till my Spring Break to have it cleaned up after all the winter salt is off the roads. Sorry for the long post and no pics. I actually have one pic but my camera is dead right now.
