Testing/Review of some "other" hi-temp products

Seem to be working now. Also, the tires are dressed with the TOL Best Dressed cut 1:1 there. A little too oily for my liking. I really like 3:1 on the interior, so I will try 2:1 on the tires. I also put some Bahama Mama on a panel of a family members vehicle. Went on and off easy, will test durability (no pics).

Hi-Temp grape dressing is one of my favorite tire dressings, plus the customers love the smell, grape.

EC is great, but has little work time. It removes a fair share of defects.

I have used the Heavy Cut, Medium cut and Light Cut, and

find they do the job quite well. Very user friendly and does not

dust up like menzerna. However, I dont find they offer the same

high finish as Power Gloss and FPII. But I still like using them

anyway.

As for the Terminator sealant and Bahama Mama Wax, I dont find them

as easy to work with, so I dont use them as often. However, Paint Perfection

Glaze works pretty good, and does some light correction to the paint as well.

Funny that you say the Hi-Temp compounds don't dust, I find the MC and up to dust extremely with a PC! But I use them very often as they are my go to polishes. I also found the Terminator pretty easy to work with after adding a little bit of water to it. I have also used Paint Perfection Glaze a few times, don't know how long it lasts on its own though.

I've used the Hi-Temp line longer than most and yes they are great products that provide great bang for your buck and yes they do dust up a lot.

The Light Cut used to be my daily go-to polish for a long time and I also loved their PolyPlate and found their Paint Perfection to be better than any one-step prior to PoliSeal.

One product that looks great on silvers is "Fine Finish". It has a set up time and after a few hours I would always notice a rich glow on silver paints.

The "Akrya" line (special orders through TOL) also offers some nice products which are designed for body shops. I am not a fan of their glazes though (well any glaze really).

I saw that TOL's site mentioned that Fine Finish was nice on silvers. I figured it was bogus! But I remember you used to use their products so that's probably a statement from you on there. It's more of a cleaner wax, right? Not sure where I would fit it in to my arsenal, as I use Paint Perfection as a one-step.

Yep, my statement as Irene was trying to figure out why she would need it since she also had Paint Perfection.....but I told her that FF looks much nicer on light colored cars. PP does nore in terms of correcting.

Hi-temp grape tire dressing. A great product. Lasts a long time, easy to use, not much shine. Really "sinks into" the tires. The smell is strong, but a good product to use.

Grape tire dressing was good, but it's no longer available in New York. Here are some more pics. The only thing used on the Lexus was the HT Paint Perfection, it's a one step light abrasive polish with a sealant (similar to Poly Seal). It was used on both the paint and the wheels. The tires have HT TOL Best Dressed 1:1, the dash has the dressing in 3:1, and I used HT Window Cleaner on the windows. I feel that all look good, and were easy to use.
