so my truck was in my friends shop today so i had his jimmy to drive around. it was covered in tree sap/pollen, so i decided to give a bath. first mistake was QEW, shouldadonea normal wash for this since it was SO sticky, almost ruined two wash mits oh well.
anyway, this is a car he got from a client who didnt want to pay the repair bill, so its not like he paid a ton for it. it has decent paint, but some harsh scratches. some i can tell are beyond help, but others im not so sure. i cannot feel these scratches with my finger nail, yeti hit them 3 times over with UPP and a yellow cutting pad and they didnt seem to budge. also, there is quite a bit oftiny micro marring left that i cant get rid of. i ran out of time, just messing around with the hood, but icould not get those marks out. the surface felt very smooth after UPP 3x followed by MP w/ a polishing pad, but still marks were left. do i just have to hit it again and again?
