Road Dust?

Any suggestions on a product that would help keep away road dust? Black vehicle that collects the road dust big time. Just put on #16 this weekend, but wanted to see if anyone recommends a product that can help keep that off. Thanks...

A nice garage and a car cover! Most LSPs are about the same when it comes to road dust/grime. The only thing you could do is get some S&W and MFs to clean it off.

Well I've had many black cars in my day. Presently own two.
Nuttin looks nicer than a properly detailed black car. bling bling....

I've been happy with both the Klasse twins and my current weapon of choice, Poorboys products.

SSR1, PwC, and EX combo on my Honda. Deep wet look and slick.
You will probably see dust within hours of washing and waxing a black car.
I did mine this weekend and Monday morning that evil dust had settled in.
The car is always garaged. The surface was nice and slick and could easily be removed with QD and MFs.

You could try to use your Leaf blower or Shop vac to clean out your garage more often. Park the car down the street while you do it or do it before you wash it.

But in defense of the both Klasse and PoorBoys stuff. I noticed the majority of the dust I have in the morning is usually gone by the time I get to work.
I usually look my car over at lunch to make sure Mr Bird doesn't drop a load or two on it. I've noticed a majority of the dust I saw as I pulled out of the drive was gone by the time I got to work.

I can't wait to try my order of S&G to see how much of a diff that will do to keep the dust at bay. I'm sure It won't eliminate all of it from settling, but I think it will help in keeping it from clinging to the surface.

But so far I'm very happy with the Poorboys, nothing against Klasse.
A very good product as well.

Reminds me I should head my own advise and clean out my garage. It's a mess from winter. A real catch all for everything the wife doesn't want in the house. I gotta get a lock on that garage to keep her out... ha ha ha

good luck....

Car is garaged at night. I get it from home to the office and when i am out on sales calls all day. I just wondered if there were any products know to help keep the dust from sticking, which I doubted. Oh well, wishful thinking, right?!? Damn black vehicles, love em clean, hate em dirty.
