removing fi-II

I have a bottle of this stuff i've been using with my PC and yellow pad. It works great, better than i expected. The only prob... about 3/4 of the way around my car it seemed to all of the sudden become a HUGE pain to remove. So much that i needed to be so agressive with a MF that it left micro marring. I don't know if i'm using to much product, to little, not enough speed in my PC, not breaking it down enough, breaking it down too much... anyone have any ideas? is thre a trick for it? like wetting the MF to remove klasse?

Use some QD like Meguiars Final Inspection to aid in the removal of FI-II residue.

I used this method last weekend with the paint correction creme. It was easy to remove than with a dry mf, but after a while buffing and wiping, you get fatigued. a damp Mf to break the polish followed by a dry one works well for me (Klasse SG, polishes.)



When I used the 3M FI II and the PC with cutting foam, I had to spray lots of Qd to remove, but the results were worth it.

Do smaller portions and then remove before moving on.

Maybe buff it a little longer? I buff it so you almost can't see it and it comes right off....

Follow Guess My Names instructions. That's the proper way to use FI. If it totally dries it makes more work for you.
