Older WWs

We use it for our everyday laundry.

Cleaning - Well, what can you say, the clothes are clean.

Sensory - No dyes, no perfumes

$/use - @128 washes per gallon = about the same cost/use as some of the lower priced detergents and better than some of the higher priced brands.

Intangibles - To your door delivery (shipping included in the price) Buy 2 or more gallons at a time (IIRC there was a per gallon discount when purchased in multiple units) and of course depending on your family's size, you can do a lot of laundry without running back to the store for more laundry soap.

Mr Clean, I'm a fan of Charlie's even at $20 per. I was making the comparison to the MF specific products that cost $10 for 16 or so ounces and Charlie's does as good a job cleaning the MF towels. My next purchase of Charlie's will be the 5 gallon size.:)

:o Yes, I see that now, my first look at the thread I didn't even notice that it was two pages long. Dang, I hate those senior moments :D

Accumulator, hehe it seems we have yet another thing in common. I too do the majority of the household laundry as my wife finds my laundry "routine" a bit too too. :o

I believe that if you give Charlie's Soap a try, it will meet your "demanding" ;) standards/requirements. The only "negative" that I have ever heard about this product was that they felt that their clothing (not towels cotton or MF) felt a bit stiff. I have not experienced this, but thought I would mention it. My guess is that you will find it a more than suitable product to handle all of your laundry chores. :xyxthumbs

I find that you don't even need a full ounce/load of the Charlie's Laundry Liquid, I have soft water and I only use 1/2 oz...although, I may spend a little too much time watching how much it suds up :o...also it doesn't look like the Charlie's site has free shipping any longer, and the Instaoffice store only has it once you reach a certain dollar amount (I think it used to be free for all amounts of Charlie).

Yeah, my Melaleuca Mela Power detergent behaves similarly. It's great on general laundry as well as MFs ( washing some WWs as we speak). Once my supply is gone I'm going to get some Charlie's.

In the case of worn, no longer car-worthy :) WWs, I'd use them for drying after clean up jobs around the garage.

Wow! That really makes it (Charlie's Soap) a bargain for you! I would say that we have moderately hard water, without ever having it analyzed. I use the 1 oz. per small to medium load and just a little more (maybe an additional 1/4 oz.) for larger loads.

Did you see something that indicated this? I looked, but didn't see a mention of it being discontinued. I just purchased another 2 gallons in December and there was no shipping charges levied.

My recollection is the Charlie's Soap site used to explicitly say that shipping on everything was free; it doesn't say that anymore. I didn't go through the exercise of putting stuff in the cart to the point of purchase to see if shipping charges were applied.
