Not in the least, sounds nothing like one, doesn't even hesitate for the glow plugs to warm up. The gas mileage is 36-40 hwy if my memory serves me correctly, the only way you can tell it's a diesel visually is the "d" after the 335 tag on the back and the "Diesel" writing on the gas gauge lol.
