Metro VacNGo 500 - Portable Vac

Been wanting to buy a portable vacuum for a while. I'm thinking of getting The Metro 500 for it's small size and decent power (for it's size). I cant decide whether to get the AC plug one or the 12V one. The 12V will be very handy, but I am afraid it will wear my battery. At $80 bucks, it maybe be a bit pricey.



Pretty much looking for something small that I can keep in the trunk. Any ideas?
 
I love my metrovac... thing is an absolute work horse and crazy powerful for its size. Can't offer you much in the way of advice on which power setup to go with... personally I have an inverter I keep in the truck for just this reason.
