So the EK is safe to use on mag wheels? Also how much do these two products run for? (Are there different sizes or one size fits all sort).

It is safe on pretty much anything. It just might not be the best product, though. I've noticed it adds a nice shine to wheels, but it certainly doesn't last. It's sort of a lazy way to add some shine. Plus, you spray it so it gets on the tires a bit too. You can go over the tires afterwards with some dressing to fix that, or just spray them down with EK for a rather matte/flat look.



EK only comes in 1 gallon sizes and I think I paid about $20 for it, but I don't really remember.

Just a thought on another hood liner function. It also insulates the hood from extreme temp changes experienced under normal driving conditions. The paint on the hood is protected some what from the hot temp cycling..

Do you think it offers significant protection for the hood paint? Like, if I were to remove it, would the hood paint deteriorate at a noticeably faster rate than the rest of the car?
