I just made a quick comparison of all of my LSPs. I applied 1Z Glanz/Sprüh wax, Sonax Xtreme1 Carnauba liquid/paste, the three Victoria waxes and TWPUG half panel-by half panel to the left side of my car. Prep was the same, 1Z Pasta Intensiv & High Gloss Polish.
Applications:
I applied Glanz with a cosmetic sprayer, putting out a very, very fine mist, and immediately wiped over with a MF. The Glanz flashed right away with absolutely no residue. Done that several times, and it somehow seemed to build a layers (although it is normally not possible with the GW). Anyhow, the jetting and depth was better and better with each subsequent applications. The Sprüh Wax was sprayed on, spread extra thin, waited 1-2 minutes and buffed off (3×). The Sonax twins were put on with MF and foam applicators. 2 thin layers each. All of the Victorias were applied by bare hand, buffed after 2-3 mins with suede MF (2×). The TWPUG got two thin, almost invisible layers too. The first was applied via a foam applicator, which I didn't like because it separated the product. It was strange, because the product's thicker "work part" stayed on the underside of the applicator, and a thin, almost watery fluid came out on the back side. I switched to MF for the second time. It has a funny, curd-looking residue (thin!!!), and it dries fast. After a swipe test the product was easily removed with a MF mitt.
Impressions:
TWPUG is amazing, by far the deepest, wettest of them all. It has darkened the finish the most, the others are very similar - basically imperceptible. Surprisingly, the Victoria Concours is one of the most reflective, almost sealant looking. The Sonax carnaubas have a yellowish/silvery undertone; and in this comparison they are nothing to write home about. The other Victorias (Cruising & Collectors) are just nice, with a bit wetter look to the CR. All VWs have a clear, honest look, but they are definitely looking better over something wet. Just out of curiosity, I layered Victoria Collectors over the TWPUG and THAT is eye candy! Took away its slickness though.
In terms of slickness the TWPUG is absolutely the first, with the Sprüh Wax as a close second. GW is third, and the carnauba pastes are similar; the Victorias have a thicker feel, while the Sonaxes are a bit slicker.
I'd never thought of that... TWPUG??? But as I look out the window, it is just WOW.
P.S.: I tried to be a bit more descriptive, because I have no digicam now.
