just go 05 jet black m3...zaino or pinnacle souveran?

No, I did not say 2 opposite things.

1. White Carnauba comes from a different region of Brazil. It is a controlled substance (by their government). Unless you have really good connections, you cannot get it here.

2. #1 Grade Yellow is already in its truest form. You cannot refine it, which is to say you can't turn it into #1 white.

The majority of waxes in the US use #3 grade yellow.

OK that makes a lot more sense now. Thanks for the clarification.

Controlled substance.. It sounds like they smoke the #1 white there or something. :) It'd still be nice to know what they do with it.

Aside from using it in waxes, it is highly used in the pharmaceutical industry....so, you may be right....they MAY BE smokin' it!!

White Carnauba is extremely expensive and hard to get. To my knowledge, we are the only wax manufacturer in the US that uses it to make our wax.

Our chemist was fortunate enought to develop relationships with the "right people" back in the '60's and '70's.

If there is a white carnauba, why canâ€â„¢t it leave brazil and what is it used for?

There was some discussion here a while back that white carnauba does not exist. Just curious.

In normal circles, it does not exist.;)
