Imola Red BMW M5 w/Dinan Pkg. (Full Correction) by RickRack...

Damn it, Rick. I'm running out of superlatives to describe your work.

It's safe to say you're one of the best in the country. That's no joke.

ramtough- Thanks!

Stealth- Thanks Stealth!

bwalker25- Thanks! I'll try to get the M3 posted up when I get a chance...

Awsomeshine- Thanks!

Premium- The headlights were given the same treatment as the rest of the car, which made a huge improvement. You may want to pick up some jewelers rouge, which works wonders at polishing glass. Also, aluminum polish contains jewelers rouge and works well on glass headlights which you might want to try first.

lt1_man- Thanks a lot Brandon!

sweetlou- Thanks!

RedlineIRL- Thank you!

rydawg- Thanks Ryan. I have always loved M5's and this color really looks good on it. I was at the shop a few times this week to meet up with some clients. I have some pretty sweet full correction jobs coming up soon, so November should be crazy busy.

Denzil- Thanks Denzil!

Phil@DetailersDomain- Thanks a lot Phil! I'll be calling you soon for more stuff...

EisenHulk- I appreciate the compliments! Thank you so much, it really means a lot to me!

gmblack3a- Thanks Bryan! You're becoming quite the legend yourself!

Matt@Autogeek- Thank you Matt! How is the Z06??

Foo King Zo6- Really? :nervous: Ha,ha.. :D

Geez, all these people with Z06's are making me really miss mine!

All I can say is :wow:...that truly is an amazing result, beyond my words can describe.

I do have 1 newb question for you. Why wipe down the car with 91% alcohol after the 106fa and 85rd...doesn't the alcohol take off the polishes? so what would be the point in using a fine polish, then just taking it off? I'm just confused as to why this was used in this case and am very interested to learn the answer.

99GrandAM- Thanks! That is a very good question. Polishes contain carrier oils in them which allow the product to spread easier and give them working time, but also have the potential to mask defects if they are not fully removed from the panel. After the panel has been polished and the polish residue has been wiped off, carrier oils are usually left behind, resulting in filling/masking. The point of wiping down the panel with alcohol is to remove the carrier oils and reveal the true nature of the paint. If the carrier oils are left on the paint, it can give a false impression that the finish is perfect, when in reality it is not. I hope this helps...

DaGonz- Thanks DaGonz!! How is everything?? Been detailing much lately?

zoomzoom mazda5- Thanks a lot Angelo!!

MCWD- Thank you very much!
