I want to be corrected, so come on in!

"Karma" boys, karma! :D

Oh, and BTW Scott, I've never heard a CD-based system that sounds as good as a REALLY good turntable (LP)-based system! :2thumbs:

Yeah, there is clarity vs warmth. I remember in the olden days, buying LPs and immediately putting them on cassette since one listening (I had a Garrard turntable with a Shure cartridge) was enough to add at least a few clicks and pops. CDs sound clear as a bell but it just seems at times like something is missing.

So "if" you were to start a basic detailing business, where you do 1-2 full details a week, and the rest washes, and wash/waxes, would the following "get you by?" (Assuming I have 'any' talent hehe).

Optimum:

No Rinse to wash

OHC, OC and OP to correct

Poli-Seal for one steps or final polish prior to LSP

OCW-can also be used to upsell a quick wax after a wash

Meguiars:

#83 and #80 to correct

#16 (if you can find it) or #26 paste

Poorboy's:

Polish w/Sealant for a final polish or glaze

EX w/carnauba (more durable than EX-P)

Natty's Blue

Menzerna:

106FF if you want to splurge on a polish that gives amazing clarity

Clearkote:

Vanilla Moose for final polish

Red Machine Glaze to add depth

Carnauba Moose-great liquid carnauba

Werkstatt (for your sealant upgrade)

Prime Strong as a final polish

Acrylic Jett or Acrylic Jett Trigger for your sealant

You don't necessarily need everything on the list, but that is my basic stock I always have with me. If you want to streamline, go with the whole Optimum list, #16 (eShine will ship to America), EX w/carnauba, Vanilla Moose, Carnabua Moose and the Werkstatt twins. You will be pretty set for any color and condition vehicle you run up against.

Once again, thanks for the help Scott!

Where can Werkstatt products be ordered? I haven't found them on autogeek or properautocare.

I already have most of the PB's line, excluding PP, and both EX's. I'll have to at least pick up one of the EX products. What do you think of their PP? As opposed to their SSR1/PwC/S?

Is Optimum's HC really needed or will the regular C work on most cars? What is the main difference?

I hear you guys praise the Menzerna 106FF, how does that compare to IP? (I hear a lot of praise for that as well).

So you have 2 wax programs on your price list? Kind of like having the basic wash/vacuum/wheels/tires/windows being $45, then with added spray wax $60, and paste wax $70? (Trying to get an idea of how much extra to charge when going from spray to paste wax here). Thanks.
