I am picking up an 03 Ford F250 Superduty crewcab today and I want to protect her.

I remember seeing it on here, but cant think of what the name was to use the search. Its the clear film that you add around your fenders and hood edge to keep from getting chipped up.

Also.....was thinking of starting her off right with ......ZAINO!!!

It is Ford TRUE BLUE (a medium/dark blue) with a silver bottom edge. I am thinking I should do the whole dawn wash, clay bar, etc....even though she is new to me, she has probably got some gunk on her during transit.

Any help or tips for keeping a new truck looking new would be great!!!

Don't let the dealership install swirls on your new truck. Or else you would be doing some swirl removal in conjunction with claying.

So I would wash with a car wash, clay, then dawn wash and begin Zaino process. (Thats if the dealer didn't put any swirls.)

As for the clear film. Armorglove, 3M Scotchcal are two that come to my memory.

Protect the interior carpeting, seats - Scotchguard or such.

Detail the underside of the hood, engine bay, various doorjams, wheelwells, wheels and rims as they are already pretty clean. I use the AIO/SG combo and this has made future detailing so much easier.
