I'm looking to detail my truck and I need some help with the exterior process. How does this sound, am I doing the steps in the right order?

-Wash

-Clay

do I have to wash the car again before the polish?

-Megs polish

-Megs show car glaze

-Appropriate and interior dressings.

Here are some pictures of my truck just for kicks:

if you clean up as you go with quick detail spray you can skip the second wash

you say megs polish ...what one??

show car glaze...yeah fine

you will then need to seal the glaze with a wax or sealant

ok are you working by hand or machine

do you any car wash swirls that you need to deal with?

does it have to be megs?

Machine PC. No swirls...doesn't have to be megs. If you could clue me in for what I would use for a vehicle that has swirls I would appreciate it too. Thanks!

klasse aio is a good cleaner polish...or megs color x

then use your #7 show car glaze...have you used this before?? it can be tricky to use

then top it off with a good wax...nxt wax is uper easy and looks good so maybe use that for summer and re apply often....and then use some collinte 476 for winter

if you had swirls on a big truck you really need to buy /borrow a porter cable polisher..you would then use megs #83 if the swirls are meduim bad and then follow up with #80 ...or just #80 for light swirls, then #7 and wax

I've used the show car glaze a lot, I love it. Thanks a ton for your help, my dad has a porter cable so i'll just use that.
