What kind of longevity do you get out of GW and do you use a QD with it?
I'm not sure about the longevity because I detail my personal cars once every 8-12 weeks regardless of what they look like. I don't ever let my cars get to the point where I say, well I guess that product failed because my car looks bad. As soon as I don't see the depth and shine of a fresh detail, I redo it. Now, that being said. I have a customer that has a brand new Dodge Quad Cab and she lives very close to a lake and bugs are REALLY bad driving to and from her house, so the paint really gets a beating due to very frequent washes and harsh scrubbing. She also uses the truck for work, and there's always scratches on the side of the bed from everyone leaning over it. I last detailed the truck about 4 weeks ago, and it was still shiny and beading from my previous detail which was about 8 weeks prior (used GW + P21S). GW is supposed to be one of the most durable waxes you can apply over 1Z polishes, and so far it has proven to be everything advertised.

Am I not supposed to layer GW? The last time I detailed the above mentioned Dodge, I layered it x2 before the P21S for added durability.
