ok well i am pretty conviced with this one two punch make it 3 (souveran) but i have a couple more questions. it will be on a brand new 05 bmw m3 and i want the super deep wet look. it wont have any swirls or anything as i requested so i am going to go straight for the wash then the clay and then wash again. i am going to set a layer of klasse aio down but with what? its brand new so i dont need anything aggresive. hand or pc with sonus black or polishing pad on low speed? once i put one layer of aio i will go to a sealant but ive heard good and bad about sg. should i use the sg or a 1z line or perhaps zaino? ease of use doesnt matter i just want the best look. i will do these by hand and wait for them to cure. well thats it for my questions and any other helpful tips would be nice as i havent used klasse before. and after that i will be topping with the none other :) pinnacle souveran.

thanks.

well i am set on the aio and the souveran but i am debating between klasse sp or ex or ex-p which would you recomend for the best look and protection. i know that souveran is going to make is super wet but i am leaning towards the sp because it works and is made for with aio so unless someone can convince me out of it i am going to order klasse twins and souveran. any input? thanks.

Only thing I would add to that is to wait at least 24 hours before topping SG with Souveran.

yea i was planning on waiting 24 hours between coats of sg and a couple of days before i put souveran on...also how many coats of each for best look without getting carried away. its a brand new car like stated so 1 coat of aio and 3 coats of sg sound good?

Manawar- I think AIO and SG is great combination. However, I also think AIO would me a great base for other polymer sealants (like UPP).

IMO, You'll probably need at least 3 coats of SG. The 3rd coat will make all the difference.

I havn't tried UPP but I here it's very slick and reflective.

Go with the Klasse SG. Discover the usage and positives of this system. 3 coats of SG will be plenty.

Next year you can venture out and try other sealants for comparison (PB EX-P, UPP, BF, NXT, Meg #20, etc). If you are set with topping with a carnuaba trying Zaino would not be a good choice. With depth producing prep work Zaino protects this finish and adding a topping IMO ruins the optics (clarity and natural hues) and possibly durability. :wavey

Klasse aint got no class, what's a matta you? Clay, Polish if needed, cleaner, Multiple coats of ZAINO,(now you have the best shine possible!) your depth will come from your finishing wax. Klasse can be tempromental and it yellows, prolly cause it contains petroleum distilates, Zaino has no petroleum products and has a quick detailer to help when you leave it on too long like two days. I actually did this with Zaino, the finish was unbelievably soft! I've put as much as twelve coats of Zaino in one day, with zfx ( I HAD NETTLES LIKE IN A STAR SAPHIRE JUMPING ALL OVER WAY COOL, PERFECTLY VERTICAL LINES, UP AND DOWN THE CAR, THE SUN WAS DANCING ON THE BABY), if you wanted to do this with Klasse it would take twelve days, if you did it right. Stuff has to cure. AIO is a good product for old beaters but other than that put that Klasse down and use the class of the field Zaino. No reason to use a rotary for years on a 05, and AIO will clean by hand easily, but I wouldn't even use it on an 05 unless you put a lot of miles on it already, just not necessary. THE ZAINO FOLKS DONT RECCOMEND TOPING WITH FINISHING WAX CAUSE THEY THINK THE SHINE IS SO GOOD ITS NOT NEEDED, BUT I ALWAYS TOP WITH A CARNUBA AND IT DEEPENS THE SHINE WITH NO BAD EFFECTS. I USE S100 OR NATTY'S BUT YOUR WAX WILL WORK JUST AS GOOD. DUDE, READ EVERY UNBIASED REVIEW ON THE WEB, ZAINO COMES OUT FIRST UNLESS THE REVIEW IS PRODUCED BY SOMEONE WITH A DIFFERENT PRODUCT LINE. ALSO, FYI, AFTER YOU ZAINO, THEN FINISH WAX THAT BABY THERE'S ONE MORE STEP, FINISH IT WITH 4 STAR GLOSS ENHANCER, ITS THE BEST. IF YOU FOLLOW THIS YOU WONT BE DISSAPOINTED. I'VE BEEN DETAILING FOR 19 YRS AND THIS MY MOST FREQUENTLY USED METHOD.

This type of rant is what gives Zaino a bad rep. :down

12 coats of Zaino in one day and then you state that if you did the same with Klasse it would take 12 days. First learn how to use Zaino correctly and 12 coats in one day is not it. :nono. Anyone foolish enough to apply 12 coats ASAP would need a minimum of 4 days if done correctly. :doh

Reference. I has been detailing longer that you have been alive and anyone that has used Klasse realizes that this is a very fine product. Though you and I may prefer Zaino is NO reason to rant lies and biases about another. Chill Bro!!!

"Check the depth of the pool before jumping in head first!" :wavey

Way to start fanning the flame wars again.

BTW, I'll take the Pepsi challenge against Zaino any day with the products I use. No one doubts Zaino's durability, but not everyone agrees it is the best looking LSP.

Lol, dude just cause the bottle says do three coats at a time doesn't mean you have to wait a day to start the next three! 4 hours the next three, 4 more the next and so on.

Actually, Sal has the following on the Zaino website:

Note: Apply no more than three coats of Zaino Show Car Polish enabled with ZFXâ„¢ in a 24 hour period. For optimum results, use your ZFXâ„¢ enabled polish within 6 hours of mixing. Use a fresh cotton buffing towel for removal of each coat.

Can you show me some pics of Klasse "yellowing"? I have never noticed any color changing with their product except for a slight greying on black...and that is hard to see some of the time.

If all petro. dist. are bad for paint and contaminate it why are they used in paste waxes???

burlyq was touting GLARE over in DC. I think he wore out his welcome over there. **FYI**

Real funny how people keep asking why fools put contaminants in polish, the answer is I don't know I didn't do it. Probably the same way people put free silicones in some polishes like Auri Gold. Does any of you genuises doubt that petroleum distilates are paint contaminats? Not only are they contaminants but they also attract dust which makes the situation worse. Even though all these factors exist with klasse i still use it, when certain customers ask for it, I'd just rather use menzerna, ts clear, and three or 4 others. Lol at dude who said greying, that's funny. It's yellowing bud and because of the background it shows grey, thanks for proving my point. Them saying Zaino should be 3 coats in 24 is a suggestion! Just like Sal saying don't put a finishing wax, it's a suggestion. However, I use finishing wax all the time, think out of the box you guys. As for why do they put petro in waxes heres my comment, all of those attract dust right? My best evidence is your own comments. All you work in a klasse plant or what?

Paint contains solvents and PDs.
