film on inside of windshield

i got some kind of film on the inside of my windshield its like all foggy what should i use to take care of it thanks

Get some Stoners Invisible Glass oe Eagle One 20/20 Glass Cleaner and a micro fiber towel.

If using the Stoners, two applications are the best. One to remove the gunk and another to catch any remaining smears.

The crud is the plastics on your dash defumigating.

I've seen the recent posts about using autoglym on the outside of the windows (sometimes using a PC), but is it also reasonable to use it on the inside? and, if so, is it useful to first clean the inside first with 20/20 or something similar to remove vinyl haze, smoke residue, etc. ?

Autoglym is fine for cleaning out smoke etc. If you wanted to do it twice just to make sure, there should be no problem. Although Autoglym call it a polish, it is not, but it does clean very well.

you may think i am crazy but i have "clayed" windows in the past that were very bad. It came out great, i then followed up with zep pro cleaner

I agree, I clay the windscreen every 6 months. Keeps the glass nice and smooth.

My buddy had this problem. It seems like it is some sort of overspray of SOMETHING. I don't know what it is but I tired alot of glass cleaners and they wouldn't work. A nice dime size portion of clay and some quick detailer will take care of it in 60 seconds.



I washed a car for 20.00 and just because I got rid of a 6 inch section of that I got a 15.00 tip. :up
