Do I Need Natty's Paste Wax?

Finish Kare's waxes and sealants are absolutely outstanding! I'm using the Pink regularly over #2180 sealant, and the results are amazing. Easy to work with and the only downside is the smell. (Which is awful - but technologically it cannot be scented.) Nevertheless, FK makes two of the most durable pastes ever and their appearance is top notch too. The sealants are also great, providing a warmer look than typical (especially the #218). #2180 is more reflective and is a great product to use along with the Pink Wax. They create wetness, depth, definition and very sharp reflections.

Thankyou. You dont seem to mention using the waxes alone...is this not something you would recommend for the FK products? I usually only do wax on my car as A) It stays inside 98% of its life and B) I am not looking for durability...and like waxing my car once a month or so.

I have no trouble paying the Nattys pricing of $15 for 8oz so I really want to make sure I am getting a better product...the great pricing is just a bonus. :woot:

You can use them as you want and still get a fantastic, spectacular look! I use them together, because I love the basic protection #2180 gives (lotsa months), and the Pink Wax adds an incredible dimension. The sealant is reflective, the wax is wet and deep. Good combo!!!

IMHO the Pink Wax will look mind blowing over any LSP. Just ask Sean (GSRstilez)...

Bence is right. Outstanding products. Try both #1000 & Pink Wax if you like waxes

Yep, you MUST have Nattys in your arsenal...I have S100 and it doesn't compare to Nattys.

Nattys is not only as reflective as S100, but much more WET.

I recently detailed a sliver minivan (with Nattys as LSP) used to transport its owner, whose a stroke victim. She can't speak and hardly move. Yet, when she saw her minivan's finish her reaction in her eyes were sheer joy. Her carer said she was very happy and proud of how her veheicle came up...thanks, in part, to Nattys.

Wow its things like that, that make detailing worth it. Fantastic.

I am a LSP and Carnuba lover, and cant resist trying them and have recently got Nattys Blue and OCW, wouldnt be without either now, if you have a dark coloured car you have to get the Nattys, makes your paint look dripping wet.

Will look great over EX-p or UPP on your car as a topper.

What would work best as a LSP on a metallic silver car over UPP? Pink wax, OCW or Natty's Blue? Has Scotwax or Patrick used Pink Wax? Curious their thoughts on this product.

Both Nattys waxes work well on silver. I'll be putting Nattys Blue on my car over UPPx3, so I'll get you a pic after I'm done. I'm planning on starting the detailing in a couple hours. I'll have UPPx3 on by Sunday night, and Monday I'll add the Nattys Blue.

I've used Pink Wax. Very good product, seems to have good durability and long term slickness. More of an S100 appearance, IMO. I'd give the wetness edge to Natty's and reflection to Pink.

I'm really frugal.

What's the best online price for Natty's Blue???

I need to get some.

www.autogeek.net is $12.95 (if they have it in stock yet) + the Autopia discount of 10% (code = autopia) its $11.75...(they jerked me around for a week claiming it would be in "end of the week" and then "early next week" and then "later this week"..

I ordered from Patrick @ Excel...paid more but he had it in stock.

Can someone who know all the code names make a list so that the novices know what you are talking about OCW UPP etc?

Thanks

Thanks

IM sure there is a post but here is what I have deciphered:

UPP= 4-Star Ultimate Paint Protection

OCW- Optimum Car Wax

OP= Optimum Polish

SSR #= PoorBoys Super Swirl Remover (1, 2, 2.5,3)

RMG= ClearKote Red Machine Glaze

VM= Clearkote Vanilla Moose Polish

Nattys= Poorboys Nattys Paste Wax

Ex, EX-P, EX w Caranuba-= Poorboys LSP products

LSP= Last Step Product (wax or sealant)

AIO= Klasse All In One

SG= Klasse Sealant Glaze

FMJ= Menzerna Full Molecular Jacket

Thats all I have for now...

PG, IP, and FPII are all Menzerna polishes. Powergloss, Intensive Polish, and Final Polish in that order (most to least abrasive). I think other than those RogueM3 got all the ones in this thread. (bravo, btw)

Edit - omg, I never knew about the decoder ring. :bow :bow :bow :bow

There was a back order on PB's products to a few vendors, nothing to get upset about.

Try to get gas in 3 weeks :LOLOL

Yeah, I know. I would have prefferred them give me a more accurate timeline, so I would have known to shop elsewhere. Its really no big deal, and obviously they didnt have an accurate timeline..but a man needs his wax when he needs it. ;)

Of course, this doesnt deter me from shopping there as they have some of the best pricing I have ever seen.
