Yeah, it was actually pretty dry on the trail today (designated public 4WD area - tread lightly). I saw a 2 ft circumference small mud puddle (where you see that mess). I guess the top layer of mud crusted over on that mess you see in the first pic and I was the first jeep in. Had to be pulled out.
