Detailing a trailer?

I couldnt find the best place to ask this, so I figure I will ask here. One of my customers wants me to detail his trailer for him. I called the company and found out the "paint" is baked enamal. Would my new makita or the da be suitable here or should I do it by hand? I have a few pics below, please recommend products that you think would work best, he mainly wants it too look shiny and have a durable wax. What should I charge for something like this? Same as a truck? sorry for the pics, i didnt finish his truck until it was dark.

I don't know about polishing those panels. I'd try a test spot and see if it's clearcoated. I certainly wouldn't use a rotary on it.

Enamel is a tricky paint - if the outer "skin" formed during baking is broken, it will never match the original gloss. I would use a nonabrasive chemical cleaner via dual action, Klasse AIO and SG would be a good combo, or one of Collinite's cleaner waxes.

which collinite wax is a cleaner?

I think that you could use almost any reputable cleaner/wax and top it with the LSP of your choice. I'm a "Meguiar's Guy" so in the consumer line, I would use ColorX topped with NXT.

does anyone actually know what baked enamal means? Ive tried looking it up and I dont understand
Isn't it simply enamel paint cured with heat?

Unless there's some burning need for correction (and it doesn't look like it) it would seem that a chemical cleaner or one step like AIO or a cleaner would be good, followed by either a sealant or a wax. Collinite might be a great choice for a trailer like this.

I have tried to wax, polish etc mine and have never seen a real difference in it. I think the trick to detailing that one will be to focus on polishing the aluminum diamond plate. I really like White diamonds polish for that that and I get it at my local motorcycle dealer.

I think just wax the black to make it bead water but dont expect much on the polishing.
