Are you a Rebel or a Yankee?

40% Dixie. You are definitely a Yankee

I think my time spent at Tulane and here in Houston has skewed those results a bit. :)

48% Dixie. Barely in Yankeedom.

I'm a 3rd generation south Floridian. Florida is definitely an anomoly where it's in the south, but the real southerners in Florida are typically in central/north Florida.

South Florida is such a melting pot, with many north easterners and mostly hispanic (cuban and South American).

So true. Where in South Fla are you? I'm near Miami.

Born in Miami, lived there for 26 years, moved to Pembroke Pines for 12 years, now in Port Saint Lucie for 2 years. Keep running away from the rat-race while still staying in proximity of a town to make a decent living.

I commute 45 miles each way to get to my office in north Palm Beach.

Whereabouts in Miami do you live? I lived in the Redlands, then Westwood Lakes (southwest Miami).

I'm not in Miami, I'm near it. :) I live in South Hollywood, but I was born in Fort Lauderdale. Port St. Lucie is nice. My brother lived there for a couple of years after he got out of the Army. That's one heck of a commute you've got there! Man! What time do you have to wake up in the morning for a commute like that??

South Hollywood, huh? I used to live just west of you: between Johnson and Taft, just west of University.

I get up too early, but fart around in the morning on the web (addicted to these forums) before leaving at 7am. Fortunately I have a co-worker (soon to be two) that I carpool with to save on gas. Gotta do what you gotta do.

See ya Jen :)
