I just used AIO one to remove some waterspots. After i used aio i used UPP i used upp to get some waterspots that i missed. After reading the bottle i saw it said it rub gently on paint but i rubbed pretty hard to get the water spots out i also rubbed pretty hard with the aio to get the waterspots out. i was wondering if this harmed my finish? I was also wondering whats the best way to look for scratches and swirls i have it in a garage now with flouresent lights i always herd that scratches show well under flouresent lights is there any other tricks to look for scratches?

best not to rub too hard on the paint, reason being if there are any dirt particles on your applicator or car your pressing down hard on it and moving it all around (thus creating scratches/marring)

Really bright lights are what you need to find swirls. fluros are nice, so are halogens and incandescents.

Park in the sun and look directly at the suns reflection on the body of the car, this will reveal swirls. I've also found petrol station lighting to be really good at revealing swirls/scratches.
