About to order Zaino, two ?

LouisanaJeeper, good luck with your Zaino - it’s a great product!



As a recovering Zainoholic I strongly suggest that you place another order with Zaino (it’s only another $7.95 shipping charge - not a big deal) and get Z-7, another bottle of Z-6, and maybe some Z-1.



It seems to me that putting Zaino on top of a Z-7 wash gives better results than using a non-Zaino shampoo. As Brad B. said, you don’t need Z-6 after each wash, but you’ll most likely want to use it frequently - before and after each coat of Zaino, after each wash, and as a frequently used QD. As for the Z-1, it will come in handy when you been working on marring in a small area - it’s really hard to mix a small amount of Zaino and ZFX.



I’d recommend that you use ZFX (or Z-1) for the first 3-4 coats, and after that you can skip it for 6-8 coats.

No you don't have to Z6 after every wash, maybe after every 2nd or 3rd wash Z6, and after every 5th or 6th wash put on a coat or two of Zaino. It also depends on what kind of car it is. A concours show car or a daily driver, or a mud flapping, mud rolling, hunters truck (those Jeep commercials are funny especially when the youngest son gets like 1400 acres of uninhabitable marsh land.) If it is a garage queen, don't have to apply Zaino often, if its a daily driver apply it often, and if its a fun, get em dirty car, use more often.

I've used Zaino and I like it alot, it gives very good shine. However, I find that it's not as slick as I want even after the use of Z-6...

If you wipe Zaino with your finger is won’t feel as slick as carnauba, because there are no surface oils with Zaino and your finger has a lot of friction - the carnauba surface oils act as a lubricant. Try a Zaino to carnauba slickness comparison using a MF towel which doesn’t need a lubricant!
