A surprise in my last shipment from PAC.

anyone done any real tests or anything on this? It seems no matter what you use rubbing any type of fabric over your finish will cause marring. If you push harder and buff off all the residue from z or bf or klasse or wax or what ever, you probably put deeper marring, but if you do more passes you will cause more light marring. I'm going to wax my car with souveren tomorrow and will do a test with my yosteve's MFs to see if there is any difference, I'll try and get some close up pictures to.

I usually wait with excitement for my orders to arrive like being a kid at Christmas Tree. This time, however, it was a bit depressing to open the box.

Not just because I knew it was the last one I would receive, but because of what I found when I opened the box. It was another box, wrapped in a plastic bag. It was apparent that the inner box was wet. I opened the second box and found blue coated pink packing peanuts; one of the 64oz bottles of BFWD had leaked. The bottles had been also put into a plastic bag. I'm not sure how much was lost. It is about an inch down below the other bottle. I'm guessing it is about 5-6 ounces. This happened on my last shipment as well with a gallon of Meguiar's APC+. It was not as bad and had not been repackaged. Since it was only about $.50 worth I didn't feel it was worth contacting anyone about.

I'm not upset with PAC, but UPS on this. Normally I would call PAC to find out if UPS had notified them, but under the circumstances I know they are overwhelmed and others have posted they not answering phones.

Just wondering if anyone else has had similar problems in the past and if so how PAC has dealt with it.

If PAC doesnt take care of you (i doubt they wont since BF is still going to be around), I know UPS should at least cover the one bottle (not sure if they take the bottle though) because UPS offers $100 insurance with each shipped package.

I went through the claim process with UPS before, it sucks. Driver left a box with gallons upside down with red arrows and This Side Up all over the box. Lost a lot of product. Called UPS, filed a claim. Since the shipper is the actual customer that's who they settle with. Then it's up to the shipper to make it right with you.
