Here is the v70r, my camera battery died after the wash, but i can still walk you through that. It was a simple polish, seal and clean.

First the exterior shots. The trim was badly buffed. It took me a while to clean out all the old wax.

That was all the before pictures. I started with the wheels, engine bay and trim. Then moved onto the foam canon wash. For the trim i ended up using p21s TAW 1:8 dilution, then einszett plastik to clean it further.

86409656.jpg

1/2 the car washed with the schmitt. Basically 1 oz of 1z glanz wash and 1oz of p21s TAW.

86409657.jpg

After wash and Clay with Clay pads.

86409658.jpg

The car was finished out with 1z metalic polish and wax, PB bold and bright on the tires, 1z plastic on the engine bay plastics, exterior plastic was 2 coats of CG VRT. Glass was cleaned with ONR.

Next up another V70

Looks fantastic, even after wash n clay it appears to be at the very least waxed. How did you tackle the mutt hair? Pet brush?

Testing 1z bliz at 1:8 versus p21s TAW 1:8. 1z on the passenger side, p21s on the drivers. Sprayed, scrubbed and about to be rinsed.

1z blitz on the mats. (1z plastic on the side of the pic)

86410467.jpg

Conclusion 1z seemed to cut the engine bay grease, and tire/wheel well grime faster than p21s, but p21s cleaned up the food grime on the mats faster.

After 1z metalic polish and wax. Again, not a full compound and polish. Just a simple 1 step.

After tires, wheels, trim and windows.

86410507.jpg

Interior after.

Pet hair. Basically i used my vac, and a bristle attachment. i first vacuumed the loose hair, then i vacuumed it again in small 4-6 inch circles over lapping half. then i rubbed it down with a rubber glove into the vac, then i used a horse hair brush to ball up the remaining bits until they would vac up.

86410521.jpg

The rest of the interior was 1z leather care, my fav PSC leather product. Yes even over LM leather protection cream. 1z cockpit premium on the remaining. Interior slobbered on windows cleaned with ONR again.

That finicky bmw paint. This car drove me nuts. 1z metalic polish at 1400 rpm blue edge pad rotary burn, 1200 rotary burn, 900 rotary burn. pc at speed 4 none. Silly bmw.

Before shots.

Hey, Grouse, that's good stuff!!! I almost bought a V70r back in April, but went for the Allroad instead. Was afraid the wife would rip up the front end of it!!!

That cargo bay on the V70 really cleaned up nice. We have a Sieberian Husky, and I'm scared to death to put him in the back of the AR for that very reason.

Wash,

Wheels pressure washed off, then sprayed down with 1z wheel. I was pleased with 1z wheels ability to cut the crap in the wheels. It however dried much faster than p21s wheel gel. meaning i could not let it soak as long as p21s wheel gel. Winner p21swheel gel for ease of use. Blitz apc 1:8 for wheel wells, tires, engine bay. Sorry no pics of process, silly me i was working.

Foam canon wash. 1oz 1z glanz 1oz p21s taw.

86412223.jpg

After claying.

86412225.jpg

Under lights. The worst area was the gas cap cover. I buffed this out with 1z High gloss polish on blue edge pad at about 1400-1500 rpm.

86412227.jpg

86412231.jpg

Minor spider webbing that came out with 1z metalic polish.

Paint under sungun

86412237.jpg

gas cap after 1z HGP and metallic polish and wax

86412240.jpg

86412244.jpg

Not seen here crap load of rotary burn from 900 rpm, I could see it, and tried to get the camera to capture it. I ended up buffing the whole thing again with pc speed 4, blue edge pad and 1z metallic polish. I suspect the 1z metallic polish did not like being worked on this paint.

1/2 hour of vacuuming, rubbing, air hose, and more vacuuming.

FWIW i ended up extracting the carpets with 2oz of citrus solv, 2oz bi-o-kleen traffic per gallon. I preconditioned the carpets, agitated, and let dwell before extraction.

Awesome work on those cars. Were those seats on the volvo really blue? Like shiny blue? Weird. What size tent was that when washing the volvo by the way?

of your recent C'n'B's and they are all top notch work. I like to see some 1z getting used. I have to say im really loving your huge trailor, you cant forget to leave anything at home!!
