2009 S5 Revived from a "Detailers" Work...

Running out of clear after 2 paint corrections  You could polish that car a dozen times and still be fine w/ the amount of clear taken off. Were not talking full wetsand jobs here so there really shouldnt be anything to worry about.

If your careful and polish properly, as Aaron clearly does, than only minimal amounts of clear are removed during correction and I know for a fact he uses a PTG to measure the paint before starting correction so there really shouldn't be any surprises next time he corrects that car.. and the time after that etc etc.

I didn't say two.....I said four. I also used the word "Eventually". Which would mean that if someone polished it 400 times there's a chance that the clear coat would start to go away. Right?

I was simply stating a concern for the customer. I have always enjoyed Aaron's work and don't doubt his knowledge or skill for a second. As stated before, I am happy that Nick (the customer) was able to find someone that he was happy with.

Two completely different colors, mine is brilliant black and this is metallic something or other... so the final outcome (even with an identical process) will look very different. Yes of course lighting makes a difference but now that the weather is getting better here in NJ I try my best to get the cars out in the sun as much as possible.

Man I hate NJ winters:grrr

Yeah. Phantom Black. I'm just stating your black car is my inspiration on all black cars ;)
