'09 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 - Clean & protect

That's about the ONLY domestic i'd drive. That machine is awesome!

Sucks that its brake rotors are as big as my rims on my civic. :grinno:

That is nothing but pure hotness, although the rims are a bit too blingy-looking for a performance-based monster.

i think the rims are perfect for it. u can't tell me that doesn't scream AMERICAN. let alone even for their size i'm sure they're super light weight like every other piece of the car.

great write up and i look forward to future pics!

Bdaly84, here's another yellow vette for you to hate. Sorry, I couldn't resist. :grinno:

Sorry, I really do love all vettes...its been in my blood since birth, mine is red, however, I do really prefer other colors, for certain years and body styles.

Your C6 looks awesome. Do you make it to Carlisle this year? What do you think about the color choices in the ZR1?

But I still must say the ZR1 looks the most badazz in yellow.

The most difficult choice for me was color. I really wish they made the Z06 available in Crystal Red and I don't mean the 85K LTD Edition version. Here's what I mean. When I traded my 05 vette for the Z06 the dealer wanted 55k plus my C6 for the limited edition crystal red. The dealer that I bought this yellow Z from only wanted my car plus 27k. That's less than half. The choice became obvious.

That was a no-brainer. The Z06's are still the best bang for the buck and are one bad *****.

My buddy has an 07 Z...black on black...and we have run the piss out of that car. First time we took the car to the track....three passes...one 11.8 and two 11.9's...stock. All we did was drop the rear tire pressure and cycled the cluctch fluid in between runs and let it cool down. Car is insane in stock form. He dynoed it at Carlisle....450rwhp/426 rwt...stock. Couple mods in the right areas....suddenly the car is a monster.

Happy motoring.

I love it! Good job, what do you use on CF?

Sorry I didn't see this before.

Due to it's ability to finish crystal clear, UPGP was applied on those panels.

A true classic right out of the box. Thanks for sharing these photos. Also nice to hear that the owner is a true believer ;)

I love my Benz, but hands-down the best bang for the buck on the planet is the Vette. :bigups

 I never really liked that color from the pictures I've seen, but the blue flake makes it look a lot better. They look awesome in red or blue with chrome wheels.
