White Audi TT Wax Choices - 2 To Choose From

I'm doing a white Audi TT today/tomorrow.

I want to use one of the following:

DG101 / KSG / Meg's #16

DG101 / DG601pba / DG105 / Collinite IW#845

Any suggestions?

Thanks

I've always found that #16 is quite lovely on flat white paint. Cannot say the same if the Audi you're doing is metallic though. I prefer the look of sealants on metallic white paint.

How did it go and which method did you choose? I just bought a flat white new car and want to go with the DG 105 + 845 method. I know 845 protects and beads water, but does it enhance the gloss of DG 105?

I don't think 845 would enhance the look of DG105, but would rather add extra durability. If you plan on using DG 105, I would do multiple (3 layers) topped with Aquawax for the best look (with DG products).

Right on. Haha, after reading further a minute ago I wanted to go with the AW instead of 845. I live in Northern California, it rains but it's not as harsh as Seattle or the NE.

Wash with DG wash

Polish/Seal with DG 105

LSP with DG AW

Easy and highly affordable.

Note that DG105 isn't really a polish at all, as it won't remove too many imperfections. It's considered a sealant and a LSP.

Yeah I now have to get an AIO cleaner. Looking at Klasse AIO but I hear it smells like gas, which is a major turn off. The funny thing about DG 105 is that on the front label it basically states it cleans and polishes, hence the name DG 105 Total Performance Polish (TTP) but is considered an LSP on car detailing forums. I know I'm getting DG car wash, 105, DG AW, but don't know what I want just yet for the cleaner. It's going to be 101, or Klasse so far. Not interested in ZAIO or Prime Strong.
