Which Quick Detailer works best on water spots?

So my Honda sits outside overnight and the sprinkler system at my complex does quite a job at laying down massive watermarks on the car.



I was wondering which QD works best at removing those. (The car is waxed and just needs a QD to help with the water spots). I've tried Adam's QD spray and it doesn't seem to be doing anything to get rid of water spots, no matter how much pressure I use or with multiple applications. Is there a stronger QD out there which will solve this problem?
 
You might want to try Poorboy's Spray and Wipe. Great cleaner and QD.

Also , added pressure will only increase the chances of scratching the surface.

Maintain light , even pressure. If you hit a tough spot , rub faster not harder.

(Speed not pressure).

Let the S+W sit on the surface about 30 seconds before removing. This helps the minerals pull from the surface and into the beads of S+W.
 
Thanks for the tips guys. I'm going to need to invest in Poorboy's product. Since I'm letting the product sit on the paint before I wipe it off, would that also start eating away on the wax/sealant that's on the car?

Good question.

I'm told by Steve (Poorboy) that it will not remove wax/sealant.
 
Odds are you are going to need to do a vinegar wash down or possibly have to clay and polish out the waterspots.



Make sure you show the apartment manager the damage. There is no excuse for them to not properly aim their sprinkler system.

You know I haven't though of that. I'll file a complaint on the sprinkler system.
