I like blue! :oP
If the weather hold up tomorrow im going to go at it again and get my shine back on the truck. I used ssr3 last week followed with the pb polish and then ex. Well i dont have the shine i was looking for. Apparently i forgot to use a lighter ssr between the 3 and polish. So now I got some haze on the truck.

I need to know what can I use after the ssr3 from other companies? Namely meg's or mothers since I can pick them up down the street tomorrow. Im going to wash my truck real good and then use maybe the ssr2 but not sure what to use after that? I've got megs paint cleaner and polish lying around but not sure if it will help get that wet look again.

i had good luck with #80 speed glaze from megs and i notice no marring on my car it was ready to seal, my first time with 80 and it was easy to use , work till clear or some say pink and wipe off, then i sealed looks great

Well i just used the ssr2 today since i don't have 2.5 or anything else. I was shocked at the results I got though. I mean the flakes in the green just stood out so beautifully. My only gripe is when I used the polish it seemed to take away from of the shine and wasn't as smooth anymore.

polishing pad. i didn't use the cutting pad at all today. i made sure of that.

Is it a good idea to apply EX buy machine with the finisihing pad?

yes for the first coat, but at very low speeds..1-2 ..otherwise you are not spreading it, but working it in , which will do little for protection.

at three you are causing friction, even with a finishing pad and you will leave very little behind, other than looks...it's ok though, just apply another coat by hand and it will be fine.;)
