water spots

I have noticed over a few weeks, I have like water spots on my hood scoop. Its the mustang hood scoop that come on the anniversary and 01 and up. Its made out of plastic. How do I get water spots off plastic I guess? I used SD obviously when I do the whole car, wash, I used zaino. What takes them off? There like white/greyish spots.

Poorboy's Trim Restorer applied with a microfiber applicator.

What about mothers back to black? I have that. Isnt the hood scoop the same material as the front bumper? It actually might be fiberglass.

Ive had bad experiences with back to black. For a day or two it looked great, then I guess the FL sun got to it and the pieces that I had used BtB on turned a cloudy white color. That cloudyness was really difficult to get off too (aka toothbrush and dish soap for an hour). I'd second Paul's suggestion. I used trim restorer on the same piece that I use BtB on and I never had any discoloration. Great product.

Huh? Trim Restorer is for cleaning/protecting all plastic. It doesn't matter where it is on the vehicle.

From the T.R. bottle:

"Restores a clean, bright new look to" grained trim and bumpers, vinyl and leather, dash boards, rubber mats, tires, and more..."

It works great on plastic mirrors, trim, bumpers, grilles, dashboards...you name it.
