Top 10 cars out of production that should be brought back

Eh, good example of "Everybody has an opinion" :nixweiss

E.g., having had a 3rd-gen RX-7(which I promptly gave to my wife) I'm not remotely interested in seeing that one come back.

E34 & E39 BMW, E46 m3, Chevy Trailblazer SS, certain Diamond Star Motors vehicles (ran forever, awd), how about some rwd body-on-frame cars. Cimarron, uh, well, dunno. How about a new Catera with a big v8? I'm sure Australia could come up with something like that.

The Detomaso Vallelunga or Pantera would be great. Would prefer the Vallelunga since it was so short lived but yet so influential in the making of the Miata.(the two designers/engineers each had one)

I can definitely support the MR2.

Syclone and Typhoon - yes.

S2000 - yes- why did they even discontinue it? It would continue to sell right now if it were here.

Grand Nat. - yes... but there's no real North American platform at Buick now, is there?

Prelude- yes- Accord Coupe is sort of today's replacement I guess. How about a RWD accord Coupe!

How about just the 2nd gen Chevy S-10? The Colorado seems odd for some reason to me. People would still buy the S-10, and there's several companies making v-8 kits.

since im a toyota fan i say they need to bring back more sports cars, and use more japanese influences with them... i say a new celica gt-four would be nice, a new toyota mr2 and of course a new supra would be great. as far as other cars go id love to see the grand national make a come back as long as they dont do to it as they did with the impalas and make it FWD. i hate that, they take a car thats been RWD for all of its life then switch it to FWD and engine bay is so cramped you cant work on anything. with that said a gnx would be nice... also would be cool to see ford to make a redesigned but still retro AC cobra with modern styling but still have retro styling as well to commemorate carrol shelby.

and i will say this, america just needs to reverse the law that stops all importation of vehicles unless they are 25 years old. i really wish they would get rid of that. Thanks to mercedes benz north america and them buying a law, we as americans can not import great cars from other countries.

Did you just say a Catera? You ok?

Btw, theres this thing called a CTS-V, check it out.

Supra should be first on that list, not second. It was decades before it's time, and is still amongst the fastest cars around when modified. second would be RX7, followed by NSX, then 3000GT, and then everything else .
