Sound of a PC?

i just got my backing plate and pads from Detailers Paradise and attached the backing plate and the yellow pad to my PC. I turned it on and i was just wondering if what i heard is normal. i hear a high-pitched noise along with a little bit of a grinding noise. i did switch out the counter weight. this was at the lowest speed. what am i supposed to be hearing during normal operation of my PC? i could post a .wav file if need be.

It is loud and sounds like you dumped sand in it? Yep, that's about right. I think everyone has the same fear that first day.

Mine sounds like a muffled electric hedge trimmer...Whatever that sounds like.

Yeah, you go spend around $100 to $130, get home, fire your new toy up and immediately think it's broken...I think everyone who's bought a PC has run into this <grin>

yup.. doesn't make much of a pleasant sound.. like a shop vac..



but the sound of my PC is music to my ears..
