Sealants vs. P21S's GEPC + P21S

Well, I've been using the K-twins for a while.

I was just wondering something... kinda hoping there'd be some that have seen both situations and could comment on which would look/be better in their opinion. Subjective, I know, but I'm curious.

(a) K-twins. AIO, multiple layers of SG, probably topped with P21S. Obviously, this is more work. SG supposedly can fill swirls, too.

(b) GEPC (does this fill? Never used it.) topped with P21S.

Anyone seen both and can comment on the results?

hey that's a good question... i have klasse 1 x aio + 4 x sg topped with s100. i'm not sure what s100 alone would be like but i'll probably try that after a few months.

I just used GEPC and Klasse AIO and 2 coats KSG, with a topper of p21s carnauba. Oustanding. I used 3M SMR to get rid of some minor swirls. The GEPC was probably overkill, but the Klasse does a great job make the paint slick, swirl-free and super shiny.

I'm sticking with these four products from here on out.:bow

Hmm... yeah, the GEPC was definitely overkill. I dunno if it does, but if GEPC is a glaze of any form besides being a paint cleaner (which AIO is), then it was removed by the AIO. If it's not, well, that's great!

Anyway, sounds great.

I don't think that GEPC is an overkill at all. GEPC is not only cleaners, oils and fillers but it contains some abrasives, it actually works as mild polish and is more abrasive than AIO. It creates very smooth and slick surface.

I've been using it just before AIO and got excellent results.

Even when I'm using SMR I always follow it with GEPC.

Yeah, I was just reading in the archives about people that do that... use GEPC, then AIO, then SG / P21S / Souveran. AIO would basically strip everything from GEPC away, but I wasn't thinking about how GEPC is a somewhat abrasive paint cleaner. My bad... guess it's not overkill, after all. ;)
