restoring old trim success

i posted a few weeks back about the winter car i purchased (92 accord lx)...some of the trim on it was heavily faded. i've tried numerous products and recently had great success with the following:

--clean well (i used ONR, but whatever you like)

--apply Z16 tire dressing (fairly heavy application) to all trim...let dry and buff

--next day...apply 303

i followed up a few times more over the next week w/ 303 and the trim is 90%+ back to new condition. i wish i had before pics, but didn't think of it at the time.

i was about to purchase the Forever Black product per recommendations on here (which i am sure would have also done equal or better)...but gave it a last shot w/ products i already had before spending more $$$.

so, it seems that bad trim can "recover" if you keep after it enough...kind of like whitening your teeth with those whitening strips or something. hehehe
