Try a search Miguel, you would be surprised what you can come up with by typing in a few words like "best on red" "good on black" and so on.
I would make these categorys though...
Dark blues/greens/blacks, mainly any dark color.
Carnauba waxes are usually best for these, as they tend to bring out the most depth and glow. Products like Souveran, P21S/S100, and any other high end Carnauba make these colors look exceptionally good.
Lighter colors such as light blues and greens, pewter, gold, silver, and white... IMO look better with sealants, such as Zaino and Klasse. The reason being is the way Zaino works with the paint, it polishes it in a manner so that you have the most reflective, and most optically clear finish. It can give very nice reflections to light paint, which is otherwise hard to do.
It all comes down to personal opinon though, and the main thing is PREP work! You can use a $100 wax and get crappy results is the paint is not first properly polished and cleaned. You can also use $3 turtle wax and get half way decent results if you preped properly.
Anyway, I have seen white cars waxed with S100 that look great, and I have seen black cars polished with Zaino, and they look great too. Its trial and error, do what you like best.
Have fun starting back up. :xyxthumbs
