Quick detailer over carnauba?

When it comes to QD's over carnauba, just about everything will do just fine. If it's an otc QD you're looking for you can't go wrong with Mother's Showtime & Meg's #34. However, I am partial to Sonus Carnauba Spritz & Pinnacle Crystal Mist. Both contain some carnauba. I just love the Crystal Mist. I use a 50/50 mixture of Carnauba Spritz & Crystal Mist with great results. ( "Crystal Spritz" ) I'm taking the advice of Scottwax & ordering up some CK QuickShine. He swears by it. Last month I ordered some PB Spray & Gloss in the 32oz. bottle. That's a nice product as well. It leaves a nice gloss.

To me, It all depends on what you use your QD for. For instance, I use Mother's Showtime or Meg's #34 after washes to remove water spots. I then go back over my truck with my "Crystal Spritz" to replenish the carnauba & to deepen the paint a bit. I also only use QD's after I wash & after I wax. I find that QD'ing my unwashed black truck produces marring. Better to be safe then sorry.

I really really like Meguiar's Last Touch QD. It really gives a freshly waxed look and a lot of gloss. Plus it smells great. :)

I like Sonus' Carnauba Spritz for a "just waxed" surface. It is mild but does an excellent job of evening out a fresh waxed resolution. I like to wait a week after waxing b4 using a QD.

My other favorite QD is Zymol's Detail. It is a bit more active and it works wonders for older waxed surfaces (a wax that is a couple of months old). This is my winter QD when I need a tough product that will bring results 1-2-3!
