I detailed a friends 01 Lightning this weekend and I didnt have anything to clean all the plastic trim (on the bumpers mainly). Whats a good product to use not only to clean old wax off but to get it back to a shiny black?

Thanks

You'll need one product to clean and then another to treat it for best results.

To clean try a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser (available in the household cleaning products section at Wal-Mart or grocery store). Iâ€â„¢ve also heard of using Eagle One A2Z wheel cleaner, but I havenâ€â„¢t tried that on trim, the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser works well for me.

To treat it use any number of trim products that are available at an auto parts store (or even Wal-Mart, Target, etc.) like Stonerâ€â„¢s Trim Shine, 303, Megâ€â„¢s #40, etc.. For best results you should apply, let sit, and then buff off with a MF.

I love 1Z Tiefenfleger. I use it on my exterior black plastic trim and it leaves a nice satin finish. It doesn't streak and will last seeral washes. I also use the 1Z vinyle cleaner. IT will remove those wax marks and any buikt up grime. Boith products work well together.:up
