PC Pad for removing product?

What is a good pad for removing product? i used my PC with #9 this weekend, i found my arm getting a little tired trying to remove the dry #9. is there a good pad for general removal of wax and SMR's?

Your best bet is a bonnet, either terry or microfibre, which you slip over top of a polishing pad.



I've heard Meguiar's new Ultimate Bonnets (microfibre) are supposed to be excellent.

You can use a MF bonnet to remove products. I have 4 brand new ones from CMA I will sell you if you want. PM me.

I would go with the micro fiber. I felt that the cotton was a little hard on the paint (my personal preference).

I just take the pad that came with the PC .. the one that screws on to it and set it on a MF towel. Eg top right 1/4 then top left 1/4 etc .. the pad holds it very well .. no elastic needed. One MF = 8 product removal surfaces.



A little experimenting will tell you the speed to use.

You could just take a regular MF towel and use it under a regular PC pad too...

If you find buffing off #9 is very labor intensive and time consuming make sure first that you're not using too much and that you're not waiting until you're completely done before buffing it off. Buff it off as you work because fully dried polish can be a pain to try and remove.
