Park Avenue Detailing: BMW 135i Convertible

This car is practically brand new yet butchered by the dealership. Holograms and sticker adhesive were present. Wheels/tire's suffered from silicone dressing over dirt.

This detail was to get the car into showroom new shape, and the necessary steps were taken to do so.



Exterior Process:



Wheels - Meguiars Wheel Brightener / EX Detail Brush / Optimum Car Wax

Tires - Degreaser / Optimum Opti-Bond

Wheel-well's - dressed with Opti-Bond



Engine:



Meguiars APC

Rinse/Leafblower dry

CD-2 Engine Detailer



Paint Process:



Foam Wash - Sunlight-Shampoo Plus

Wash - Shampoo Plus

Clay - Riccardo Clay



SIP with Orange CCS via Flex (I had originally start with 106FF with Green CCS thinking the paint would be quite soft but it wasn't)

PO106FF with Red CCS via Flex

Collinite 845IW by hand

Rubber mats cleaned

Nice turnaround. So, you're saying the clear was hard? The before pictures of the right side looks like the paint was super soft -or- maybe the dealer washed it with a brillo pad. Did your clay create marring on the finish? That's usually an indicator *for me* that paint is really soft.
 
It created a bit of marring, but it was also covered in crap which the claybar was removing at the same time. Honda paint that I have done in the past was definitely softer then this.
