Has anyone ever done a comprehensive pad review for the PC polisher? I know the PC Thread in teh Article section, but is thee a pad one? I plan on purchasing my 7336SP from Lowes sometime this week. What I do not know is which pads I should buy. There seems to be a monster selection out there. CMA carries several different ones alone. Since I will most likely be shopping at CMA (gotta support those that support the forum), I would like to figure out which pads is my best option.
I'm sure that there will be numerous opinions on which one to use. They have Standard Variable Contact Pads, Advanced Variable Contact Pad, Orange Power Pads and their Best Foam Pads with 'Fingers'. I'm confused right there. I've never been one to buy the basic, and usually upgrade at least one level. Then again, I'd really like to see which one would be the best, non-breaking the bank option.
It will be my first use of a PC polisher. I have a black Grand Prix and a pewter or so Saturn that will be my test subjects.
Any suggestions or maybe a lead to thread that I missed while searching? I appreciate the help as I really have no clue which to use. My only previous experience with polishers was an 11" orbital that I used with terry bonnets many moons ago.
Thanks,
Scott P
