# 5, none of the above. Let's face it....We've all used a finger nail at some point in time. it's great a getting at the dried wax residue in the nooks & crannies of your car or truck. It's funny that this thread popped up when it did. I just used my finger nail this morning, where the bed liner meets the paint on the bed of my truck. Got a little wax on the edge of the bed liner & I scraped it off. lol
 
A well chosen and finely groomed fingernail comes in pretty handy when trying carefully to remove some stubborn particulate matter from the surface of finely cared for paint.:D
 
#1 and #2. I used my fingernail to remove some wax residue on my trim. While it did remove most of it, it also put some fine scratches in the trim. :(
