Its got some cleaners in it, so it would remove the Zaino.

bj's right - the light polish in Reflections® means it will remove your Z2, and will also prevent the product from layering.

Now everyones got me confused, some say its got cleaning properties and its a waste of time to put Reflections over Zainos or to put a second layer on.Following is an email to Mothers Wax and the reply.

I don’t see why not....you can apply another layer when ever you want, but any more than 2 coats is a waste of time.

Now is Mothers® Reflections® Premium Polish a polish like Zainos or is it just another cleaner wax/polish or whatever.

You might want to do a bit of searching on Autopia. Zaino is not a polish, but is a sealant. Reflections is a hybrid sealant/wax which has cleaners, so works like a cleaner wax. You can apply anything on top of anything that you want. However, if it has cleaners, it will remove whatever is already on the car.

2wheelsx2 if you look up on Zainos web site I believe they say Z2 is a show car polish and not a sealant.Correct me if I'm wrong

Aaughhhh - the dreaded semantics again.

We call Reflections® a "polish" because it has no carnauba in it. In fact, it is more correctlyt described as a (resin-based) synthetic "wax". It has a very light (abrasive) polish in it which will inhibit true layering, but you can apply multiple coats if you want to.

Personally, though, I think it's a waste of time. Others around here might disagree.

Zaino calls their product a polish, because, again, it has no (carnauba) wax in it. It's a synthetic.

Some prefer the use of the word "sealant" to describe products which offer paint protection, but don't have any (carnauba) wax in them. Actually, that's a better choice than saying polish, if the product offers protection.

Too bad all us appearance chemical manufactuers can't get together and agree on standardized terminology to prevent this confusion from continuing.

Just to let you know (and add to your frustration) that Step 2 Meguiar's product is not a polish as mentioned anywhere in this thread. "Polish" in this case is Meguiarsese for glaze  , so don't expect Step 2 to be abrasive (like real polishes) or to be a sealant (like Zaino and Reflections "Polish"). The 3 step systems by both Mothers and Meguiar's are comparable.

Thanks 4DSC,thats the reason i'm going with the step two and three Meguieres.Don't need step one as Cruiser Turbo is only four months old.
