Meguiars "Detailer Line" - Info??

I'm in the UK, we can get Meguiars but the range is limited.

Every couple of months I google for meguiars restricted to .co.uk sites, this time I came up with this link:

http://www.autotag.co.uk/acatalog/Autotag_Online_Meguiars_16.html

By UK prices the shampoo's quite reasonable, but I've never heard of the "Detailer Line" of products, can't even see it on the main Meguiars US site.

Does anyone have any info on how this compares to the consumer products?

Paul

As you can tell, the stuff in gallon containers is their line targeted to pro detailers. It's not really available to the general public unless you buy it from a Meguiar's distributor.

How it differs from their consumer products depends on what products you are comparing. Most of their pro detailer line will perform similarly to their consumer products. Many of these products can be diluted for various uses. The big advantage is that all these products are available by the gallon making them more affordable for the high volume user. But for the consumer it's a bit overkill.

Well, I'm assuming they do indeed have it in stock, but the maths says its agood deal if it's comparable to Gold Class - there's no details on the website and I wanted to check it's not some sort of pressure-washer formula, or anything "wierd".

In the UK a 16oz bottle of GC is approx $8 shipped, a US gallon is approx $30 shipped so there is quite a saving IMHO.

Part of me thinks car-wash is car-wash, but I have to say GC is the best stuff I've ever used (though in the UK there's not that many alternatives).
