i got my car broken into over a year ago.. the glass from my window left fine scratches down the outside of my door. i believe they wet sanded or buffed with some kind of compound with a buffer to get the fine scratches out of my clear coat. while they did do that, there has always been these liitle raised specs that distort the reflection in the areas they worked on. you can feel them with your finger nail. you dont even see them unless you are looking for them, so they dont bother me too much. but i was wondering what they were and if i could get rid of them at all..

here is a pic of my door.. you cant even see them here! i need to set the camera on macro and take some more pics

Maybe the body shop took off so much clearcoat it is now failing and what you feel is the start of a repaint coming on

It sounds like you are describing overspray. It can be caused from improper air pressure, inadequate booth air flow, too thick mix, or clogged nozzles, etc. during the shoot. Typically requires wet sanding. It could possibly be paint settling from a shoot on a car nearby. Take it back and show them. They will know right away.

this was like over a year ago.. just trying to figure out what caused it and how i can take care of it myself. i have a PC7424 so i could use that too.
