Is Zymol QD any good?

I bought two bottles and it seems ok. Not the slickest I've used but it does leave a nice look afterwards. What the heck give it a try.

My Big Lots has a whole bunch of these and I just keep it in the car to spray on bird bombs when I see it on my car, along with the Meguiar's Quick Detail Pad.

Weird how my store is $2.99.

I believe it is probably similar to the Turtle Wax Ultra Gloss QD that is sold next to it, so I can say it's a good QD for the most part. Cleans well and doesn't streak or smear.. smells alright, but slickness and protection are weak.

Turtle Ultra Platinum is much better then Zymol spray detailer.

Quite contrary; Zymol Detail will run circles around Turtle Ultra Platinum. I used Turtle platinum when I ran out of Zymol, and it was ok just as a go between before re-stocking with Zymol.

Zymol's Detail gets high marks from me.

I used to use the OTC QDs... I still do, but what I've found gives me a nice clean surface... and the very slick feel and glossy look, is QD followed by a little Poorboys Spray and Gloss. I use either E1 Wipe n' Shine or Mothers Showtime QD for the cleaning part, then follow it up with the PB's to bring back the gloss. I love it.

It's ok as a daily type QD. As stated it doesn't add a lot of slickness. I got 8 bottles for $1 each last summer at my local Advance Auto.

Seems to be a good QD for carnauba....cant hurt to give it a try at 3.00 or less.....check the online stores and you will see it is 12.00.
